Chant for soprano and piano is an early work of Bobby Yotzov, inspired by the great Bulgarian soprano Alexandrina Pendatchanska, and dedicated to her.
Borislav Yotzov has often performed this work as a piece for clarinet or soprano sax and piano. He is also the author of the lyrics.
