Rondo Scherzando was written in 1964 pour the annual Bulgarian trombone competition as a piece pour Trombone & Piano. In 1971 the work was orchestrated pour full orchestre symphonique. It is the most popular and beloved solo piece among the Bulgarian trombone literature.
